Programming the desired hole spacing in a strait line repeat, a diamond pattern or set distances from a bag seam or print mark can be done with just a few keystrokes reducing set up time to just a few minutes.

Using an optical encoder the Viper PLC calculates line speed and distance of film travel to maintain the programmed hole spacing the instant the unit is put into run mode, thereby reducing scrap.
