The IMPS-1000 “Intermittent Cold Micro-Perf System” provides new versatility in micro-perforation.

The IMPS-1000 is deigned to work inline with our Viper PLC Moving Web Punch Machine using one Viper PLC to control the operation of both machines. Using our Viper PLC control the IMPS-1000 can engage and disengage the film at specified points allowing the perforations to skip an area of the film or a bag seam.

The IMPS-1000 uses a belt drive to match line speed on the perforation roll, eliminating tear out or elongation of the holes as it engages or disengages the film.

The IMPS-1000 can also be configured for use independent of our Moving Web Punch Machine, or as a continuous Micro-Perf machine.

As with all of our Micro-Perf systems the IMPS-1000 perforation roll consists of individual pinned sleeves, making pattern changes or repairs quick and easy.
