Every wonder how food stays so fresh, so long, in those bags in the stores? MICRO-PERFORATION!

Tuesday, December 13, 2022

Micro-Perforation is a process used to pierce materials, typically plastics. Most plastics are PE, PP, PET and a few others.

This genius process is done to help preserve freshness inside the package.

How does this work you ask?

The air inside the package is able to circulate and respirate because of the micro-holes.
There are two different types of micro-perforation, hot and cold.

Thank you Micro-Perforation!

Pretty cool right?
